2026 - 2027
ASCEND-AI seeks strategic partnerships with corporations and secondary education institutions committed to workforce development and AI literacy advancement. Our partnership model is designed for mutual benefit: external partners gain access to a pipeline of AI-literate talent while contributing to capacity building at HBCUs through resource sharing, mentorship programs, curriculum co-development, or experiential learning opportunities.
For corporate partners, collaboration may include guest lectures, case study development, internship pathways, or curriculum review to ensure alignment with industry needs.
For high school partners, the initiative offers professional development for teachers to create postsecondary AI literacy development. Beginning in Years 3-4, we will expand significantly into secondary education, positioning high school partnerships as crucial bridges to college readiness and career preparation.
All partnerships emphasize evidence-based practices, measurable outcomes, and sustainable infrastructure that extends beyond grant funding.
