Navigating AI in the Classroom
Clear communication is key to maintaining academic integrity in the era of Generative AI. We provide faculty with boilerplate syllabus language and policy templates.
Policy Options
Prohibited Use: Defining when AI tools significantly undermine learning objectives.
Permitted with Citation: Guidelines for citing AI-generated content (e.g., APA, MLA updates).
Encouraged Integration: Scenarios where AI use is a required part of the assignment.
We encourage faculty to co-create these policies with their students to foster a shared understanding of academic honesty.
