Tri-Annual Collaborative Workshops

Howard University (Fall) / Bowie State (Spring)

Building Community

Our Tri-annual Collaborative Workshops are the cornerstone of the ASCEND-AI partnership. Alternating between Howard University and Bowie State University campuses, these events foster cross-institutional collaboration.

Workshop Agenda

  • Research Showcases: Faculty present preliminary findings from their AI-integrated projects.

  • Tool Demos: Hands-on sessions with the latest AI agents and software.

  • Curriculum Sprints: Collaborative time to redesign syllabi and assignments.

These workshops ensure that the “reciprocal capacity building” model is actively practiced throughout the academic year.
